Your Randvu subscription

Compare plans, change plans, update your card, see invoices, and cancel — all from Settings → Billing.

Zuletzt aktualisiert: 2026-05-11

Your Randvu plan (the monthly fee you pay Randvu to run the salon on this platform) is managed under Settings → Subscription & billing. This is different from the payment policies article — that one is about money clients owe you. This one is about money you owe Randvu.

Stripe runs the billing under the hood, so a lot of this page sends you off to a Stripe-hosted portal for sensitive operations.

Find the page

Open Settings in the sidebar, then click the Subscription & billing entry in the section nav on the left. The full page is at /settings/billing.

The header has two utility buttons at the top right:

  • Download all invoices — opens the print dialog with every invoice in your history.
  • Manage billing in Stripe — opens the Stripe Customer Portal in a new tab. Use this for things that need to be handled inside Stripe directly (updating tax IDs, addresses, the like).

What's on the page

Reading top to bottom:

  • Past-due banner (only if you're past due). Shows the issue and pushes you straight to Manage billing in Stripe to fix the card.
  • Trial banner (only if you're trialing). Counts down the days left and offers a Subscribe button.
  • Plan hero — your current plan name, price, renewal date, and the entitlements that come with it.
  • Compare plans — side-by-side cards for every plan available, with a Change plan CTA on each.
  • Payment method — the card / bank account on file. Update it from here.
  • Billing history — every past invoice (paid, due, refunded), with a download link per invoice.
  • Cancel subscription — at the bottom, in the danger zone style. Only shown if your subscription isn't already cancelled.

Changing plan

Click Change plan on any plan card in Compare plans. Randvu opens a dedicated change-plan page at /settings/billing/change-plan with:

  • A proration preview — exactly how much you'll be charged (or credited) right now based on what's left of the current cycle.
  • A confirm dialog that summarises the new plan and the immediate charge before you commit.

Once you confirm, Randvu calls Stripe, updates the subscription, and you land back on the billing page with the new plan active.

Updating your card

The Payment method section shows the current card brand and last 4. Use the form on this section to swap the card — Randvu opens a Stripe Elements form inline so you never leave the page.

Cancelling

  1. Scroll to Cancel subscription

At the bottom of the page.

  2. Click Cancel

A confirmation dialog opens with the consequences spelled out (when access ends, what happens to your data).

  3. Confirm

The subscription is set to cancel at the end of the current billing period. The page shows a Resume subscription button while the cancellation is pending — you can change your mind any time before the period ends.

After the period ends, the workspace goes into a read-only / restricted state depending on your plan. To resume access, subscribe again via Choose plan.

Past due

If a payment fails, you'll see a Past-due banner at the top of the billing page and (depending on the failure) restrictions on certain features. The banner has a one-click button that opens the Stripe Customer Portal at the right page to fix the card.

Returning from Stripe

If Stripe redirects you back to the billing page after a checkout, Randvu reads the redirect status:

  • Succeeded — green banner, subscription refreshes automatically.
  • Failed / incomplete — red banner with a specific message; the subscription stays on whatever it was before.

If you see a stale ?checkout=success in the URL with no redirect_status (e.g. you opened the page from a bookmark), Randvu silently strips it — no false success banner is shown.
