Products and stock
Add retail products, track stock levels, adjust counts, and see every movement in a product's history.

Products are the retail items you sell alongside services — shampoo, styling tools, gift items. Add them once and they're available to ring up in the register and to track as stock. Open Products from the Catalog section of the sidebar.
Browse products
The products page offers three views — switch between them from the top, and your choice sticks:
- Table — dense, sortable rows; best for scanning a big catalog.
- Grid — image-forward cards; good for a visual catalog.
- Operations — an ops-focused view for stock and reorder work.
Search and filter by category to find an item fast.
Add or edit a product
The product editor is a two-column studio: a form on the left and a live preview on the right that updates as you type.
Name and identifiers
Set the name, and optionally a SKU and barcode so the item can be scanned at the register.
Pricing
Set the price you sell at and the cost you pay. The studio shows your margin so you can price with eyes open.
Categorise
Assign a category, brand, and supplier so the item flows into reorder and purchasing.
Stock tracking
Turn on Track inventory to have Randvu count this product's stock. Leave it off for items you don't want to track (e.g. a service add-on).
Image
Upload a product image — it shows in the grid view and as a thumbnail in lists.
Adjust stock
Need to correct a count, log damaged goods, or add stock that arrived outside a purchase order? Use Adjust stock on the product: enter a change (plus or minus) and a reason.
Stock movement history
Every change to a tracked product is recorded in its stock history, with the type and the staff member responsible:
- Stock in — received stock.
- Retail sale / retail return — sold or returned at the register.
- Waste — written off.
- Count adjustment — corrected by a stock count.
- Manual adjustment — a hand-entered change.
This gives you an auditable trail of why a product's count is what it is.
