Charge and complete a booking

Jump from an appointment to the register with the cart pre-filled, collect any remaining balance, complete the booking, and rebook in one tap.

When an appointment is done, you can take payment for it without re-typing anything. The Charge & Complete action carries the booking straight into the register.

From booking to register

  1. Open the booking

Find the appointment on the Schedule or in the bookings list and open its detail.

  2. Click Charge & Complete

The register opens with the booking's services already in the cart, staff attached.

  3. Adjust if needed

Add a retail product, a tip, or a discount just like any other sale.

  4. Take payment and finish

Complete payment. Paying for the booking completes it — no separate "mark complete" step.

Deposits and the remaining balance

If the client already paid a deposit (or the full amount) online when they booked, the register knows. It collects only the remaining balance, and the transaction detail shows the deposit credit alongside the total charged so the numbers reconcile.

Gift cards and package sessions

If the client has prepaid balance, the register's prepaid strip offers it right in the cart — cover a service line with a package session or apply a gift card before taking the rest by card or cash. For settling a booking with prepaid without opening the register, use the booking's own Checkout dialog instead. Both are covered in Redeem gift cards and packages.

Rebook before they leave

After payment, the receipt screen asks "Rebook {name}?" with a suggested follow-up six weeks out. One tap opens the booking wizard pre-filled with the client, the services from the sale, and the staff member, with the date picker landed on the suggested day — the fastest path to a standing appointment. (Attach the client to the sale first; a walk-in with no client attached can't be rebooked.)

Permissions

Completing a booking from the register needs both the booking-completion permission and POS access. If a cashier can ring sales but not complete bookings, they won't see Charge & Complete.
