Gift cards and packages online
What buyers see on your public gift card and package pages, the balance-check link, and how gift cards apply during online booking.

Once online selling is on, your storefront does the work: clients buy gift cards for others, buy packages for themselves, check balances from a link, and apply gift cards while booking — no staff involved.
The public gift-card page
Your storefront navigation includes Gift cards (/s/your-salon/gift-cards). The buyer:
Picks an amount
Preset chips (for example 50 / 75 / 100 / 150) or a custom amount between $10 and $500.
Fills in recipient details
Their name and email, the buyer's own name and email, and an optional gift message. A live preview shows the card as the recipient will see it.
Pays inline
A secure Stripe payment dialog — no redirect. The recipient then gets the card by email with its code and a balance link.
The public packages page
Packages (/s/your-salon/packages) lists every template with Sell online enabled — price, savings badge, per-session value, and validity. The buyer enters their email, pays inline, and the sessions land on their account. The page explains the model in three steps: buy once, book as usual, sessions apply automatically at checkout.
The balance link
Every emailed card includes a private balance link. It shows the available balance, the code, validity, a "Book & redeem" button into your booking page, and the card's full activity history. No login needed — anyone with the link can check the balance, and any remainder stays on the card after each visit.
You can re-send it any time: open the instrument's ledger in Gift cards & packages → Gift cards and use Resend or Copy balance link.
Gift cards in online booking
When a booking requires an online payment — a deposit or payment in full — the booking form shows an optional "Gift card" field. The client enters their code, verifies their email, and sees "✓ {amount} available — applied at checkout". The card charge shrinks by that amount; if the card covers everything, no card entry is needed at all and the button simply reads Confirm booking.
